about the artist
sachiho hino graduated from the college of fine art in tokyo and chelsea college of fine art in london. she has over ten years' experience in character and product design, as well as children's book illustration.

sachiho has designed for leading children's entertainment and educational companies like sanrio, scholastic, kumon and sega, working with such beloved characters as hello kitty, snoopy, mickey mouse, paul frank's famous monkey, julius, and miffy. she currently lives in southern california with her husband, chris, and son, kota.
